Mystery or Love Story?

btt button

All things being equal, which would you prefer–a mystery? Or a love story?

I would definitely pick a mystery. There’s only so much love story I can handle before they all start to sound the same. Mysteries are more versatile, providing more varieties of story lines, etc.

What about you?

I do agree that love stories often have the same story line but I think its what gets the reader hooked that makes the difference.
