  1. Sookie Stackhouse Seires by Charlaine Harris. I think I still need to read the last two books from this series.
  2. Thursday Next Series by Jasper Fforde.
  3. Delirium by Lauren Oliver. Read the first two. Need to read the last!
  4. The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro
  5. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
  6. Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray. I read the first two YEARS ago and for some reason never picked up the last. I may have to restart this trilogy because I need a major refresher!
  7. Harper Connelly by Charlaine Harris
  8. Wolves of Mercy Falls Series by Maggie Stiefvater. I read the first book a long time ago and never got around to the others. Need to catch up!
  9. Archie Sheridan and Gretchen Lowell by Chelsea Cain. Great mystery, read the first two and need to catch up on the rest.
  10. There are a ton of others that are still pumping out new books that I have fallen majorly behind on. I suck at keeping up with series’.

Top Ten Tuesday – Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors

I would automatically buy new books by the following Top Ten authors:

  1. Chuck Palahniuk – Love all of his books and his gritty style. Huge fan!
  2. J.K. Rowling – Aside from the awful The Casual Vacancy I love her books soo very much! I will buy all of themmmmm.
  3. Alan Bradley – Flavia de Luce is the best! One of my fave series’ so I will definitely keep picking up his books.
  4. Rainbow Rowell – She is the queen of YA! Adore her books (who doesn’t?)
  5. John Green – King of YA! haha He knows how to hook me in to his stories!
  6. Lauren Graham – My love for the actress (and Lorelai Gilmore) is enough to get me out to purchase her book(s)!
  7. Lisa Genova – I find her books extremely interesting and haven’t been disappointed yet!
  8. Veronica Roth – Divergent was AMAZING. Please bring out more books!
  9. Jenny Han – I have a huge crush on this gal/her books. The Summer I Turned Pretty is an awesome fun/light/fluffy beach-read trilogy!
  10. Ransom Riggs – I love his style! The stories are always interesting.

1. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I’ve been hearing nothing but praise for this series, especially with the new show out. I really want to see what it is all about!!

2. Everyday Sexism by Laura Bates. I came across this book on instagram. Someone posted a picture and raved about it. It sounds super interesting but I cannot get it anywhere near where I live! :*(

3. Rooms by Lauren Oliver. I have mentioned this one before. I loooove her books! CANNOT WAIT!

4. The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski. So many great reviews on this book.. I NEED to read it!

5. Doomed by Chuck Palahniuk. One of my favourite authors. I want to own and read every book he writes.

6. Beautiful You by Chuck Palahniuk. Another Palahniuk book I cannot wait to get my hands on!

7. The Silent Wife by A.S.A. Harrison. Heard so many great things about this book!

8. The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton. A classmate recommended this book.

9. Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. There is so much buzz surrounding this book. People of all ages have recommended it. I really want to see what it’s about!

10. 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. I’ve wanted this since it came out years ago. I just never got around to buying it!

Top Ten Tuesday – Top Ten Books I NEED To Read (according to friends.)

Here is a list of the Top Ten books I was told by friends that I ABSOLUTELY NEED TO READ!

1. Anything by Jane Austen. I apparently have been missing out..and I totally agree! I’ve been meaning to pick up a book by her but others have gotten in the way. I hope to fix that soon!

2. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I have the first couple of book collecting dust on my shelves. I’m told it is a pretty good series. I love series’ so maybe I should get around to reading it!

3. Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. Again, a series I am told is super good. I WANT to read this!

4. The Selection by Kiera Cass. I had no interest in reading this even after having heard it was good..but I am kind of curious now.

5. The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. Not sure if I ever will read this. Doesn’t peak my interest.

6. Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Ditto what I said about The Hobbit.

7. The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. This is apparently one of those “everyone must read” books. I do want to read these!

8. Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. A co-worker was raving about this book. I am mildly curious!

9. The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. This is another one that a lot have said I must read. I may get around to it one day.

10. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. With the movie coming out last year this is one series I was told over and over to pick up. I have the first book sitting on my shelves…maybe I will pick it up soon.

Top Ten Tuesday – Top Ten Authors I Own the Most Books Of

I’m a day behind! Sorry! But this one looked too fun to pass up!

Here are my top ten:

1. Charlaine Harris – 18 books. I love the Trueblood series so this accounts for the high number! Plus I’ve tried out a few of her other series!

2. Philippa Gregory – 15 books. I love her Tudors series! Historical Fiction is quite juicy and she does a great job writing it!

3. Chuck Palahniuk – 11 books. One of my fave authors! I adore his books!!! I still have a few I haven’t read yet or purchased. Must do that soon!

4. Irvine Welsh – 11 books. Trainspotting was so good I had to own his other books! I’ve only read one other of his books so far.. I should probably read more lol

5. J.K. Rowling – 10 books. Well Harry Potter takes up the majority of those books. And I have read and own her two adult books. I need to buy the latest one!

6. Paulo Coelho – 9 books. So far I have only read The Alchemist and loved it. I want to read more of his.. Hence owning so many!

7. Jack Kerouac – 8 books. I love the beats generation and adored On the Road!

8. Kurt Vonnegut – 8 books. Slaughterhouse-five is one of my fave books! I love his writing style (both fiction and nonfiction)

9. Jasper Fforde – 8 books. Thursday Next series rocks!! I also own a couple of his other books to check out.

10. I have two others that tied at 8 books. Jodi Picoult and Agatha Christie! Jodi is great for super emotion driven books and Agatha writes a good mystery!
